Also, with the story about the SOSU Morrison building, it is about 13 miles from where I live. I was told by students there that the story was that a man was in the theater for the first time and fell off of the balcony and now every once and a while you can see him standing there watching shows.

There is also a place in Bennington Oklahoma. It's hard to find, but I'm sure someone knows where it is. My dad says he does. It is an old Choctaw Church from a lonnggggg time ago and apparently it was shut down by the white settlers. Some people say that every now and then you can drive by and see a light on or hear singing, but there is no electricity to the building. I have been there myself, parked with a few friends and our truck shut down and it was pitch dark. We couldn't get it to start for about 30 minutes. Not that this is proof of anything. Just thought I'd add that.

Today, visitors and historic reenactors have reported strange encounters with the ghosts of Fort Washita. During one of the many Civil War reenactments held at the fort, several visiting high school students were sitting outside on the second floor deck of a recently reconstructed barracks. As the students looked across the court yard toward the old stables, they saw what appeared to be a green apparition walk from the barracks to the stables. In another instance, two female members of a living history group were spending the night in the Bonahan cabin, west of the fort. On this particular evening, one of the women claimed that she was suddenly disturbed from her slumber by the sensation that she was being strangled.

A few hours later, the second woman awoke and reported that she could sense an invisible presence hovering over her. On the second night, a third woman joined the two reenactors. The very next morning, each of the women reported that they had been plagued during the night by dreams involving suffocation.

It is the personal encounters of people who have visited Fort Washita and the ghost stories like that of “Aunt Jane” that draw ghost hunters from around the country top this mysterious historical location. The fort and many reconstructed buildings are open to the public on a daily basis. Fort Washita continues to be preserved for future generations by the Oklahoma Historical Society.

11-05-06 at 11:20 am I was observing a con trail coming from the north over L.A. and headed south when this bright pulsating object crossed paths underneath it. It was traveling from the east at a high rate of speed in a linear path and disappeared over the ocean. Our cliffside vantage point in Palos Verdes afforded us a wide view for many miles. My wife took the 10 photos in about 30 seconds with cannon 6 pixel w/ 12 time zoom. It was calm, the sun was behind us and a stranger also witnessed it. Jon

A story of unhappy ghosts.

Theres this grave yard that me and my friends went to the other night and we shut off all of our lights and we started seeing these 4 ghost coming down the hill towards us. they kept flashing and everything started getting really hot. then my lights flickerd and my keys were out. two of my friends passed out and when i tryed to start the car it made a really werid noise. i turned around and there was 2 ghost in the back seat and the other 2 in my front window. no one can explane this.

when my friends woke up they didnt know what happend...

I went home later that night and looked up the state street gravyard. Its know for the ghost haunting people at night and some how possesing people. there was four murders in this grave yard, a family. Mom, Dad, Boy, and little Girl. This Family of four haunts this grave yard. Now i know that they are the ones who came to my car. they dont want anyone coming into the grave yard. they are also the ones who possesd my friends.

I asked around the town if anyone knew of this family who haunts this graveyard. many people say them have seen them and some say they have been possesed. but only at night will this family come out.

Please Add this to your site, i want to warn the people of newburyport about this ghostly family.

By the way the real name of the grave yard is Oak Hill Cemetary but most people call it state street grave yard.

There is a house in Marion county in the town of Sandoval that I spent the night at when I was a kid in the mid 80's. Several of us kids saw a candle coming up the stairs. Other people had mentioned to me that this house is very haunted, but they dont have to tell me!

Hi there. I am writing to inquire if anyone has reported seeing a ufo above Fall River Ma. las evening ( 11/15/06). My girlfriend was talking with her family, who evidently saw a large glowing red ball hovering visibly over Route 24 South Last night for at least ten minutes. After some time it abruptly shrank to the size of a Baseball and sped off. Anyone who could comment on this would be very helpfull.

The seven-member crew of Space Shuttle Discovery arrived Monday afternoon at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, beginning a final round of prelaunch training. During the four-day terminal countdown demonstration test, the astronauts will be fitted for their orange launch and entry suits, practice an emergency egress from the launch pad, and drive the M-113 armored personnel carrier. The training schedule is highlighted by a launch dress rehearsal in which the fully suited crew participates in a simulated countdown.

Space Shuttle Discovery arrived at Launch Pad 39B on Nov. 9 following an overnight move from the Vehicle Assembly Building. The P5 integrated truss segment and SPACEHAB module were installed in the orbiter's payload bay on Saturday.

The STS-116 mission is the 20th to the International Space Station and construction flight 12A.1. The launch window opens Dec. 7.

It's a former church built in 1909, now missing it's steeple. Fran's sells the usual stuff, that you would expect to find in this type of business. There are two floors, a basement, and the main floor. The place seemed a little eerie driving up to it, since the steeple was no longer on it. Went I walked in, old blues music was filling the entire building.

I went there in person, not hunting for ghosts. Yet because I was on vacation, and passing through. I browsed around for probably half an hour or so. Then I came across a set of horns.

I looked at the horns for a few seconds, mentioned something about them, and then something on the same shelf far to the left (white milk glass candy dish) flies off. I attempt to catch it, it hits the floor once, doesn't break. Bounces, still trying to get it, hits again and breaks. The lid to it that is.

That's the bottom, it remained on the shelf. Notice that it has a lip to keep a lid in place. I never touched any part of the dish, until after it decided to go flying. Now I did touch the horns, yet very carefully. I've been in flea markets, and antique stores before. And I am well aware of the, "you break it, you buy it policy". There is no way I would have wanted to buy something as ugly as that.

I know that, I did not move the shelf in such a way to cause anything to fall or fly off. And certainly not in such a way to cause a lid to lift off and crash itself to the ground.

This is the area where the candy dish had been sitting.

I took some video of the area, after the incident. Asked for anyone or thing to let itself be known, in such a way it didn't break anything else though. I didn't see anything unusual on the video.

The incident happened in the basement, pretty much directly under where the cash register is located, on the floor above.

The lady working there who I assume to be Fran, was the owner. She also was very friendly, and helpful. When telling her about the dish, and offering to pay for it, she mentioned there being a ghost down there.

The worlds largest hand dug well and meteorite is just down the street. I would not suggest going there. I stopped there first and was treated very rudely by the woman running that place. I left before buying a couple tickets to walk down to the bottom of the well or any souvenirs. Directly because of the way she treated me.

In this Spitzer image, the two opposing bubbles are being formed in opposite directions by the powerful outflows from massive groups of forming stars. The baby stars can be seen as specks of yellow where the two bubbles overlap.

When individual stars form from molecular clouds of gas and dust they produce intense radiation and very strong particle winds. Both the radiation and the stellar winds blow the dust outward from the star creating a cavity or bubble.

In the case of the Black Widow Nebula, astronomers suspect that a large cloud of gas and dust condensed to create multiple clusters of massive star formation. The combined winds from these groups of large stars probably blew out bubbles into the direction of least resistance, forming a double bubble.

yeah i went to the haunted house here in hutch and the lil crow guy was lookin at me and my friedns throght the window he has a pale white face longish black hair and very very piercing eyes adn when u get really close to the hosue u smell ensence its really scary

my freidns heart stoped beating and he died of a heart attack and he was only 15 it was really bad then little crow came out side and started screaming so we jsut ran and left my little friedn there it was really bad blood came out of the walls and pictures were faling we heard them on our way running back down

Witt Springs Arkansas has a very haunted house!It's very old (I don't know how old!)A sherif used to live there with his wife and son and he and his family was killed near there house in the forest in a river that used to be behind there house. If you go into this house at night you can hear the piano inside the house playing!The house was also a church house for the last four to five years when I used to live across the street from this house people have bought the house so many times and have tried to sale it. Nobody will buy it because the people of Witt Springs say that it is haunted!
