Found an article about Fort Lauderdale ghost tours, it sounded interesting. I haven't been on this one myself, nor do I know the people. So this isn't really an endorsement one way or the other. It does sound like something I would check out if I were in the area though.

The city's first hotel, built because the railroad's coming through, was built next to the tracks at the river. Historians say that it is this area, where we have our ghost hunting, that the city, as we know it today, began."

Ghost tour guides, wearing a cape, top hat and carrying a lantern, tell stories of the fabled New River, trading posts and 100 year-old mansions. Is the Ghost Train that speeds silently over the tracks the train that caused the death 500 people in the Labor Day Hurricane of 1935? Some locals who claim to have seen it think so.

Visitors on the tour will discover the mystery of the woman in the white wedding dress and why she stands alone on the balcony of the city's oldest standing hotel building. Guides also tell tales of Seminole Indians that still haunt the river, the ghosts of early settlers, and the haunts of a popular restaurant.

"It is great family entertainment," says Rieger, "something for the family to do after dinner besides watch television in the hotel room. It also works great for local families, because ghost tours are a clever way of introducing local history to children - a way of making history interesting and easy to listen to."

Here's an anonymous report recently sent in.

In Peoria/Chillicothe I have had an encounter with strange howling noises at night as well as torn apart fences and scratch marks on trees. A werewolf like creature has been seen in the fields of the area. Several children have wandered into the forest and were found dead and mauled while very few of body parts were found. The creature only seems to appear during the summer.

I am in shock at what I saw last night. Ok, I was laying on the golf course with 2 friends and one of them turned to me and said what is that? I looked up and there were 2 flashing white lights moving parallel to each other.

I know for a fact that it was not an airplane because there was no noise and I could not see the object between the lights (if there was one). They were moving about 2 times the speed of an average airplane would move in the sky...

They seemed about cloud height. I am still in shock of what happened and i cannot get it out of my mind. Can some one give me some clarification on what exactly this could have been.

Visibility Night, Clear, High Thin Cirrus Clouds.

Viewed out the drivers side window of patrol car Extremely bright planet believed to be Jupiter. At my 11 O'clock high position, planet had been observed by me for past several days. Planet believed to be Saturn also viewed from Sheriff's Office approximately 5 minutes earlier at 7 O'clock and very high in night sky.

As I was driving north I viewed an object that appeared as bright as Jupiter and in fact thought it was when I became suddenly amazed and thought "What the hell is that!?!" because the real Jupiter was just to the right of the UFO and a little lower in the night sky.

It should be noted that the moon at half phase was some what in between Saturn and Jupiter but not as high as Saturn nor as low as Jupiter. As I continued watching the bright UFO which appeared to be motionless I felt a sense of amazement and fear and stated again out loud what the "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT??"

Mo. St. Hwy 19 is windy and there is a lot of deer crossing the road at night so I could not maintain constant visual contact. I knew there was a clearing in the road and straightway up the road a 1/2 mile or so I started to speed up to get there and I planned to get my binoculars out.

Then the real weirdness started the bright UFO had a dim and small object drop away straight down towards the horizon. I had to take a double look because I could not believe what I had seen. I began to weave on the road so I slowed way down from 40 MPH to 15 MPH.

The small light object just continued to drop to the horizon and the bright Lite UFO did not appear to move. There was no unusual oscillation or color change. The bright large UFO was Yellowish and/or white and the small glowing dim lite appeared as white only.

By this time I wanted to get the good look so I sped up to about 65 MPH as much as the windy road would let me. I was cussing because I could not reacquire the UFOs. I tried top reason that maybe I saw the Space Shuttle leaving the Space Station however that took place on Tuesday as I just found out. I Googled the net to see if any one else saw the same thing I did but to no Avail.

I removed the last two or three lines of this report to protect this person's identity at request.

Update:
I received the OK to release that this witness has over 25 years in law enforcement, and is an FAA certified flight instructor, and a commercial pilot. This is also his fifth sighting. So it's safe to say this witness is highly qualified.

Being sensitive to things that others can't feel makes me uncomfortable at times. It also makes others uncomfortable with me.

My honey's house is isn't that old, so I have never had any vibes that I usually get with properties that have a history. It was easy to walk from room to room in the Contemporary-style home, and not want to have every light on. But that has changed.

The other night, after late night television and frisky fun in bed, we fell asleep. I was laying on my side with my back towards my fella, but I felt like I was being watched, (like Brigette Jones watched Marc Darcy in the movie Brigette Jones Diary). Thinking my guy was admiring me (or watching me drool), I slowly lifted my head to turn it in his direction. But, my head stopped almost immediately upon coming up off my pillow. There in the upper corner of the room, directly in front of me, was a man's head, shoulders and part of a torso. The faceless man had dark hair, and dressed in disappearing a suit and tie. No doubt this was a man, no doubt he was there.

I just stared and even though I could not make out any eyes, I am sure he was staring at me. I would have screamed if he moved from his invisible perch of 8 feet above the floor, but neither of us flinched. "We" were both motionless.

After a seconds worth of eternity I began to sit up slowly. Then the floating man was just GONE! What was there---was not!

I tried to wake my boyfriend, but it was like trying to wake the dead. Talking and shoving him gently produced no sign of life so I had to wait until morning to tell him about the "other" dead guy in the room.

I asked him if there were any deaths in the house. He replied,"no", dismissing
me in his usual logical way. I persisted. "No one has died here?" Annoyed, he said, "not really, but kind of."

Huh????

He then explained:

Years ago, a gentleman had wrapped his car around the telephone pole at the end of the driveway and was killed instantly. He was on his way to work.

...well, that explains the suit the ghost was wearing.

I have no idea what to expect from this request, yet I feel compelled to do so. If you are an alien being from beyond Earth, I would like to hear from you. I am completely serious with this request, and I'm pretty sure that I have never requested such before. So this is your formal invite, to contact me. Hopefully in a manner that doesn't give me a heart attack. I'd like to extend the invitation to time travelers and beings from beyond the known four dimensions.

On 16/06/2007 I saw a red light in Singapore skies. It was stationary for a long time at great height. It was bright red. Then it would move very slowly and stay at one place for sometime until it finally disappeared.

Last Night, June 15 2007, My husband and I were coming home from the movies and saw what looked like the old stealth planes. You know the ones with the red light in the center? We watched that thing hover over the same area for at least 5 minutes. After a while, it seemed to move at a very slow speed and a very low altitude over our city. We live near DIA and it just seemed to be going around our general area. It seemed to be traveling around the border of our city limits. We noticed after a few minutes that it was being followed by several other low flying (planes?) but they seemed to keep their distance. It was just weird. Anyway, I'm glad I found this site, cuz i wanted to tell someone. This was at around 11:30 pm. The plane, stealth thing, or whatever it was went lower or landed or whatever around 12:15 or so, and the other (planes) went away soon after.

I don't know if we saw a UFO or what. My husband said it was a stealth plane and he was Military, so I'll go by what he said, but what was it doing here?

It moved so ... smoothly. And it was very graceful in the sky. I have just never seen one move like that before.

I was just alerted of a site with some very strange pictures. They look too strange to be true. Although that in its own is not proof of it being fake.

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin was on "Your World with Neil Covuto" on Fox News and said: "Look, we see a UFO out the window going along with us. You know what would have happened, the public would have gone crazy. But we were smart enough to say 'where is the upper stage rocket, we think we might be looking at that out the window'"

I'm not going to claim this stuff is real, because I just don't know. The quality of the videos pretty much sucks. Which is why I haven't put them up like this before. If these are real though, they are the smoking gun.

I was laying in my bed my mom had gone to work, she works nights. I was going on my laptop and listening to music. I shut everything down and I was about to get something to drink when I saw a bright flash through my shades.

I laid there for a minute wondering what it could have been. I finally got up the guts to go check it out. When i looked through my shades and i saw a bright light that looked pretty far out there. I already had a pretty good idea of what it was, but I wanted to make sure I wasnt being an idiot it was really cloudy out with no stars. Oh, and by the way I lost my wireless internet which i use from my neighboors when the flash happened.

As I took a good look at it I realized it was moving back and forth so I knew it wasn't a plane, so the only explanation was a satellite, but it started moving back and forth really fast. By the time I realized it was an alien, I saw that it was about ten feet above my neighbors house.

At this point I was freaking out. But the scariest thing was in my head I said I dare you to come to me see what happens. Right as I said that IN MY HEAD it started towards my window and I started shaking. Before I knew it, it was about three feet from my window. I had never been so scared in my life.

It was a tiny kind of ball shaped space craft TINY is the key word it was only about 9 to 12 inches in height and I don't know the width the light was very bright and I was very scared. I decided to look away and look back to see if it would be gone but when I looked back it had moved even closer to my window and now I could see inside a little glass window and these eyes just staring into mine at this moment I ran from my window wanting to scream but too scared to and I turned on all my house lights and waited about 30 minutes to go look back out through those shades and when i did there was no light at all outside.

I truly regret not lifting my shades and opening my window I think it just wanted to observe me or something I don't think ill ever know. This happened at about 11-1130 pm i didn't sleep the entire night just wondering what the hell just happened and I was kinda scared to go to sleep. This happened about 2 months ago.

This film was produced by a freshman class at Portland State University. I've always held an interest in alternative energy. Now with gas and other fuel prices climbing higher and higher constantly, it seems way over due for something to be done about it.

There is a lot of technology out there ready to do it, not just for cars, but also for homes. I think the politicians and all the focus paid to them has really stolen our choices. There is no reason for infighting about alternative energy. New energy, as well as old energy companies can profit from it's creation, and it's virtually untapped at this point.

It doesn't mean that you have to throw away your gas powered SUV. Think about it, if companies start producing more choices, they will in turn create a lesser demand for oil products. As we know, when demand on a product lessons, it usually comes down in price. More competition is also created, because when you have more than one choice available and the companies are aware of this, they will give you better service at a lower price.

Look at satellite television versus cable television. Then there are all of those wireless phone choices out there. For example the wireless phones have more companies out there in each area, than do television providers. Prices have dropped, and choices have increased greatly over the last 5 years. Television sets are a good example too. 10 years ago, you would have been hard pressed to imagine the prices, quality, and choices you know have. HDTV, LCD, Plasma, and such.

So in my opinion it's always wise to support alternative energy, even if you have no plans to use it. It will still benefit you, in the long run. If the choices only double and the demand for what's in use now goes down by half, look what happens to your wallet then when you purchase. So with that said, onto the film.

Last night my boyfriend and I were on the phone when all of a sudden it sounded as if he were running and he told me that he had to call me back. A half an hour later I still hadn't received a call from him so I called him back and he answered that he needed to call me back.

I fell asleep with the phone and I woke up at 2:00 in the morning still with no call. I called his house and his mom answered and I told her that I wanted to talk to him to make sure everything was ok. She started asking me questions to as if I heard anything before he hung up the phone and I told her that all I heard was him sounding scared and running from something.

When she got home she found him by their mailbox not wanting to go back to the house. When he was talking to me he was standing behind his trailer by the propane tanks when he saw something about 5'7" walk out from behind the next door neighbors shed and start walking across the lawns. He said it was completely bald...didn't seem like it had any eyes because he just saw darkness by the face...and it was really skinny.

When it was about 6 feet away from him it slowed down and stopped and turned its head and looked at him. Then he said it commenced on making a grunting, squealing, pig sound at him and thats when he started running. He ran out onto the road and before he got to the road he could hear it right behind him making that noise and its feel pattering across his patio. He got out onto the road and noticed it had not kept running after him so he turned around and saw it crouching down and looking through all of his stuff outside his trailer.

It was moving around all the chairs and his bike that he had thrown out of the way while running away from it. Then is when he walked down to the mailboxes to wait for his mom to get out of work.

I was just wondering if there had been any UFO sighting recently. He lives in Southington, Ohio. This just really bothered me and I was just voicing what I know. I would appreciate a word back from you guys. Thank you very much,

Explorer Professor Challenger is taking quite a beating in the London press thanks to his claim that living dinosaurs exist in the far reaches of the Amazon. Newspaper reporter Edward Malone learns that this claim originates from a diary given to him by fellow explorer Maple White's daughter, Paula. Malone's paper funds an expedition to rescue Maple White, who has been marooned at the top of a high plateau. Joined by renowned hunter John Roxton, and others, the group goes to South America, where they do indeed find a plateau inhabited by pre-historic creatures, one of which they even manage to bring back to London with them.

In this classic yet still creepy horror film, strangers hold up in a rural Pennsylvania farmhouse and battle constant attacks from dead locals who have been brought back to life by mysterious radiation.

WARNING - This is a graphic horror film with some gory special effects.

No reports today, thought everyone might enjoy an old classic. I've included below the description that was included with it.

Carnival of Souls - Horror - 1962 - BW

Perhaps the most famous 60's horror film behind Night Of The Living Dead, Carnival Of Souls features our heroine, Mary Henry ( played by Candace Hilligoss ) as a young woman involved in a car accident where 2 of her friends die. From this point on Mary is haunted by eerie, creepy images of what appear to be corpses. She also suffers spells where she can't hear anything going on around her and enters a different world.

She is lead to an old dance hall / amusement center in the middle of nowhere. It's dilapidated and old but she's drawn nearer and nearer.

In the end, we find it's been - well, watch and see - it'll creep you out for sure.
