Message: On my 30th birthday, November 15, 2007, i received a strange and amazing phone call from my father. He started by telling me he, my mother and a couple of their friends were in their hot tub around 7:45pm. There wasn't a moon that night and as they were visiting, my mom became distracted by a light that looked like a moon off in the distance. Within a matter of seconds there were 4 of them and they judged about 8-10 miles away or so...they thought maybe it was farm equipment (as they live outside of Bad Axe, MI in farm/ wooded area), but then realized it was too high to be farm equipment.

In a second the 4 lights were just on the edge of the property on the other side of their garage. My dad jumped out of the hot tub to get a better look at the lights in question. As my dad walked to the side of the pitch black yard, he didn't see where they were any more....when suddenly four lights came on. He said they were roughly 3'-4' in diameter and about 10' apart all spaced evenly. He said it was huge about 80' long and because of a row of cedar trees in the yard was unable to see the bottom. He said it was black except for the large circular lights which seemed to be yellowish and very dim...like dimmed recess lights...he said the strange thing was that the lights didn't pierce the darkness or cast any light or shadow. He said it was just above the tree line and so close he could have thrown a stone and hit it.

He was trying to figure out what it was attached to (still thinking it may have been farm equipment) but could not find anything holding it up. He said it didn't make a sound, create any air movement(even though it had stopped after traveling about 8 miles in a seconds time) or put off any type of heat. It hovered over the dog kennel ( of two labs that bark at everything) and the dogs didn't even acknowledge it. Less than a minute elapsed and the lights went off. My Dad couldn't see it or reflection on the light/windows, there was no sound...it was as if it had vanished... Not knowing what it was, he went back to the hot tub to join his friends.

When he got in my mom and her friend saw a streak of light. They kind of joked about it, but all came to agree that they had all seen it and were not sure what it was...later that evening they heard jets flying back and forth over the area.....they even saw a plane shoot off something that appeared to be a flair. They didn't report it out of fear of being thought of as crazy since they come from such a small town.

My father is very logical, doesn't drink, doesn't do drugs, doesn't lie.....he believes it was a UFO and knows now that there is something out there and that the technology that he witnessed so close up was way beyond anything we could ever produce. the next day the four of them looked over by the edge of the property for evidence that it was there, but none was found. Dad said what bothered him a bit was that for the next 3 days one of our dogs sat by the hot tub each night and stared into the area where the craft was.

Message: We saw a light in the distance that resembled a star. It zig-zagged upwards and then started coming towards us. We could see a red and blue light spinning as it was coming towards us. Once the object was above us a spotlight shone towards the ground, then it shot straight up into the sky and was gone within a matter of seconds.

Message: My Boyfriend and I saw the same flame like object in the sky. At first we both thought it may be a meteor as well but the flight path was to straight and it was maintaining a level altitude. We were driving and it it stayed even with us for a couple miles and we parked in a parking lot and got out we watched it move for a little while longer and then it disappeared. It made no noise. This is the first other sighting I heard of it. I looked up local news shortly after the incident and found nothing about it.

Message: Hey....I saw the same thing tonight around 9:30 or so. Got a picture of it on my brothers phone. It was very strange. It was bright, yellowish looking. Definitely not a plane, star, helicopter, etc There were no blinking lights or sounds. Very strange!

Message: My dad, who is an extremely no-nonsense guy, swears that he and his friends saw a UFO from the Ag Campus in Knoxville in about 1966. It was a dome shaped craft that made an electrical humming sound, had a metallic finish, and blue lights around the base. It hovered about 10 feet or so above the street, and crossed the river and went up over the bluff and took off.

It was apparently seen by many and there were reports in the newspaper. Authorities investigated and reported that it was a fraternity prank where students were building a fire under laundry bags and floating them up like hot air balloons. My dad says that is total BS.

Does anyone know anything about this? This comes from an incontrovertible source.

Message: I saw something similar on the same day, around 3:20 pm (EST). you didn't say if your incident took place at night or in the day.

The sighting I had was in Strafford,NH. I was working outside my home when i looked up at the sky. I only saw one object but it was white and spherical in shape, at first it seemed to be staying in place, then started to move in a North Eastern direction. It made no sound and continued in that direction for about 10 seconds, I thought at first it might be a balloon but it was so round.Then stopped in place, something I have never seen a balloon do. I looked away for two seconds to see if anyone else was around who might see it too which there wasn't so I looked back and the object was gone.

I used to get down to the Winnebago and Omaha Indian Reservations quite a bit when I worked in Sioux City from 2001 - 2005. Lottie's Grave is taken quite seriously by a lot of locals but it seems that everyone has an opinion on where it is. There is a leaning tree on the Winnebago reservation (Winnebago, NE) which is near Macy, NE (Omaha Reservation) and some have said that she was buried next to that tree. You really have to get down to those reservations and gain the trust and friendship of some of the locals. Don't just pull up in front of their gas station asking for directions. I never asked specifically about the location but absorbed a little of what the locals told me freely after I had gained their trust and friendship. I've heard stories of people desecrating the site by relieving themselves in the general area and then getting torn up on barbed wire because they were so disoriented trying to run away that they didn't know where they were or how to get out.

You have to be careful though. There are lots of legends of ghostly sightings (including Bigfoot) that are kept alive by the local Indian tribes. Much of it has been altered through the verbal passing of the legends. The ghost of a tribe member can, according to legend, be seen standing along the road that runs directly from Winnebago to Macy (the one that runs past the pow-wow grounds--not highway 75). I have taken that road in my work vehicle and on my motorcycle at night literally HUNDREDS of times over that four year period. I've spent a LOT of time down in this region at night and have never witnessed anything while I was driving. Your best bet, like I said, is to gain the trust and friendship of some of the tribal members while demonstrating a deep respect for nature and the spiritual realm--don't come off as a "ghost hunter". Get out some night after you have done this and spend evening hours out in the wild. I'd recommend the tribal park near Macy just off the road between Macy and Decatur, NE. The Missouri River borders this park. Take a 4WD vehicle if you can because the driving paths aren't kept up and it can get rough in spots.

Message: Yesterday 17th November at around 10:50 am I was traveling to the Pentland Hills down the A70 for my usual Saturday run. I saw a vapour trail in the sky but couldn't quite make out the plane.. I can't quite put my finger on it but the trail didn't look the same as you usually see. It actually looked like something was falling really slowly from the SKY.. I slowed down to look and I then saw a small ball of light darting in and out of the vapor trail.. absolutely amazing.. It didn't glow.. it was more like a mirror surface.. I immediately phoned my folks who I knew were in the vicinity and sure enough my mum could see the trail.. laughed when I said what else I had seen then exclaimed "Yes i see it now.. what is that" there was a 3rd witness standing beside her who also saw this. I know there is some sort of army base up in the Pentlands and maybe there is some explanation.. I'd love to know what I saw is this was extremely weird..

Message: I live in cda Idaho off of Hanley kinda over by the mall in the rock wood apartments. Any who the whole area used to be one big forest and has been torn down to just a section of trees.

Any ways according to my old friend, someone walked into the woods, and found a old cabin with a news paper in it, claiming that a man lived there, and killed 5 people. And according to him, he has seen the spirit many times now. I work at Wendy's by the mall and live in rock wood. Now Wendy's has a ghost that watches you when you do back windows, and you get a creepy feeling, in the walk in and freezer, and my house, and Wendy's, and the forest all used to be one.

When you go into my house (apartment), mad laughing can be heard and things fall off the shelves, and what not. I was wondering if anyone around my area has heard anything about this.

Message: There's a house in Corbin, KY on 18th Street across from Corbin High School. It's a two-story yellow house that we were told by friends is haunted by a woman that died there. Our friends lived in the house for several years and reported seeing the woman watching them shower, and also walking the halls at night. No one knows who she was. We drove by the house one night after they had moved out. No one was living there at the time, but we saw a woman open a curtain on the second story and look out. We thought all Corbinites might find this interesting.

Message: I was at a soccer game in Milpitas on 11/17/07, and looked up and saw a small white object stationary in the sky. It did not move. After a while i lost sight of the object, and after a second of scanning, saw that there were now 3 of them flying north.

You may have noticed that the web site was down for at least 5 hours today. Answers from the hosting company were not immediately forthcoming. Once service was back, I was then informed, that there was a Denial of Service attack directed at the network. That's all the details I have on the matter, and it is very frustrating.

I would really prefer not to have to switch hosts again. This one is roughly three times more expensive than the last one. So I had hoped to escape the low quality, low price cycle, that can tend to happen with web hosting.

So let's hope that these issues will iron themselves out.

Message: We used to live in a house in the Vicksburg/Portage border, on Portage Rd. by "S" Ave. It was an old house, with a widow's peak on top. Creepy house to begin with, then after we moved in my husband heard someone whispering in his ear over the back of the couch and he thought it was me, but I was asleep in the other room. Also, we would leave and all the lights would be off, we would get back and the light switches were off, but the lights were on. One time the television started flipping channels all by itself. Needless to say, we didn't live there long.

Message: On July 4, 2007 in Alexandria, Louisiana, My daughter and I were looking for a place to see fireworks and she got hungry. She asked to stop at a McDonald's on MacArthur Dr. in Alexandria, LA.

We went in and came back out. I paused when I saw what looked like a huge ball of fire coming towards us at a great distance in the sky. The ball kept coming closer and closer towards us. I called my mother to see if there had been a shuttle scheduled or a meteor that anyone had seen. She said no....the huge ball of fire that my daughter and I saw came so far towards us that I thought it was a comet. Then, the fire-ball turned and went towards the west of us and within 10 minutes was gone. I could not believe my eyes. I knew that if it was a comet or meteor it would not make a turn like it did. I wish I had a camera so I could show the rest of the world. It was so unreal and my daughter thought that the sun was shooting at us in the sky.

Message: All i gotta say is I thought of many other logical options for the event which resemble a missile test with a very fast moving object at a very high altitude. I grew up watching satellites in the morning and stars at night and this gave me the impression of being high above the atmosphere, had a large meteor like trail and looked like it was coming downward towards earth. My logical mind told me it was a missile or a meteor which would eventually burn before getting to earth. However this object came out of the trail and stood still before disappearing, that was a craft looking shiny round object, which looked too big to be the remains of missiles.
I've never seen anything like it, no high altitude missile behaves like that.

Message: I want to report this. I had never seen "anything" until a few nights ago. Three friends and I were saying our goodbyes, smoking cigarettes, after we watched some MMA DVD's.

We were all outside, smoking, and kicking a football around with my black lab, Addriane. This dog LOVES balls and loves it when you kick them. She is extremely attentive when playing ball. So, randomly, she brought the ball back one time, and looked STRAIGHT UP into the sky. I mean STRAIGHT UP! She stared for about 5 seconds, and went back to her ball.

We all looked to see what the hell she saw, and then we saw it too. A circular shape, almost shadow-like. We thought at first it was a low-hanging cloud, but skies were clear that night. Furthermore, this thing didn't move for twenty minutes. After a minute or two of gazing, we noticed two smaller ones (whatever this was) thus making out a triangle shape. The best way to describe how it looked was a circular shadow that was almost brown against the dark blue sky. Very visible--my dog saw it, and for some reason, she noticed it out of nowhere.

So, that's it. We stared at these things creeped out for about twenty minutes. Pictures didn't come out well. My friends left, and I went inside. I got my video cam charged and came out 10 minutes later to find the things gone.

Message: The story about the place in St. Petersburg that sold mannequins and display racks. It was located on (i think) 5th ave n. It is now a hospice but the old building was torn down. Just thought I'd update your info. I don't know about the ghosts tho. Also, in Ft. DeSoto Park I read there is the ghost of a man on the North Beach who is very friendly (especially to the ladies) and wears a panama hat. He looks solid but will disappear when walking away. I also know a man hung himself there a few years ago (not the panama hat ghost) but have heard no stories about him.

They floated there for a couple of seconds, then lined up and one by one flew to the west. Really creeped us out.

Message: I live in Hillsboro, sightings happen here all the time and have for years, especially the late 70s and early 80s. I lived on a mountain for 15 years with a clear view south, saw some weird stuff. Message: Hi. I was reading one of your sites that lists sightings. I didn't notice WHERE to post so I got your contact info. I think you will find this interesting. I've always believed in UFO's. But there was always a part of me that doubted since I had never seen one. I still have never seen one. But my Husband did. He's keeping hush about it because in all honesty it freaked him out too much and he doesn't want people to think he's crazy. My husband is a honest reliable person and would never 'make up' things. He doesn't drink nor does any drugs. He didn't even believe in UFOs up until that night, thats how much of a 'rational' person he is. Its crazy what he saw but after talking for hours about it, he saw what he saw and there's no rationalizing it. because your eyes CAN play tricks, but your ears don't, and he saw and heard. So heres what he told me.

He was driving home from work, 2 am. He works second shift, this was last Friday night. He pulled off the exit to our small town. He drove and off to the right in a parking lot by a gas station he saw a really bright light. He said it looked like headlights on top of a light post. That's how low it was, it wasn't moving, just there. So he didn't think too much about it. Maybe he just never noticed that street light before, so he drive up further and then the light is over on the other side of the car so he's like 'what the heck???' so he pulled over and turned off the car and got out and looked around. Nothing. Turned and there it was, right behind him, just lingering in the air, silent, no lights. Then the lights went on, he said they looked like headlights, and it made a noise.

He said he sounds like a V8 (can you tel he's a car guy?) and then it was gone. He got in the car and drove the other 2 miles to our house. He sat in the car for a few minutes thinking of what he saw, and determined that he just temporarily lost his mind. So he got out of the car and the motion light went off. So he walked out to the road away from the house and stood in the road and the motion light went off and there it was again. Behind our house, just above the tree line. Bright light, and it didn't make the V8 noise until it started to move. He took out his Phone in hopes to get a picture, but when he flipped it open there were 2 black lines going down each side and it was frozen, he couldn't do anything to it. Then when he looked back up it was gone, but he could see it wayyyy up in the sky.

Now this story coming from anyone else i would have my doubts, but there is no rational explanation. Helicopters linger but are noisy and create a wind, planes move too fast even the hydro planes move, they don't linger in the sky. He literally had goose bumps for 2 hours. I'd like to hear what you think about this.

Message: Hey, about Devenger Road! Me and my 2 kids, and some friends went to see what would happen. We got to the bridge and and put the truck in neutral we went {backwards] up the hill. Then out of no where a white truck appeared going really fast very close to our bumper, it followed us about 2 miles, then it was gone.

Then we went back the next night and stopped on the bridge and went [forward] up the hill. Then we were all laughing, and looked to our right and saw a image of a little girl in a glowing white dress. It scared the heck out of us all. We left and have not been back. Do you know what really happen down there? Do you know if anyone else has seen anything before?

Message: The directions to the children's Cemetery are off a little. The Publix and the McDonald's are actually on the left and the store is not a Fast Fare it is a Hickory Point now. I went there today and got a really cool picture of a woman wearing a black dress. Only one good picture out of 79 taken during the day. The place is real and very creepy. Also the Cemetery is only about 100 feet Behind the store if that. It is heavily wooded and over grown.

I thought you may want to update your information on the Harrison Church at S.W. 16th and Harrison - It is not abandoned, and hasn't been for about four an half years now, as one of the owners I can confirm this...

One other thing I can also confirm is that the rumors of it being Haunted are not rumors at all, the activity there is real and pretty consistent. As I can not be there on location on a regular basis I hired Caretakers to care for and watch over the building - maybe I should have told them about the Church's reputation before they signed on and moved in, but I did not I decided not to put things in their head that may have otherwise not been there. Well it only took about two weeks before I started getting calls asking me for information on the Church and if there was anything they should know due to some strange things happening in the Chapel. I dispersed some info in small quantities, again not wanting to make a mountain out of a mole hill, however the mountain showed it's face all on it's own, and one of the Caretakers for a lack of a better explanation, was temporarily possessed while someone that claimed to be a former preacher from the 50's sent over a message regarding a double murder that took place in the boiler room and upper loft of the church.. Ooops, guess I should have been a little more forthcoming with my information.

Lucky for me and my business partner the Caretakers have not as of yet been spooked away, in fact they are intrigued and while investigating and trying to verify the information they were given 'that night' they have found a way to live among the 'regulars' that pass back and fourth through the Chapel on a daily basis. Yes it's hard to believe for me also, but what scares some makes others curious - Me? I'm happy in my own home far far away from the Church *smile wink*

Location of Event: County Road D12 about 1 & 1/2 miles West of Pierson IA or 30 miles East of Sioux City

Message: I had seen something similar in almost exactly the same area a few months ago. Driving home with my husband and daughter I noticed 5 to 6 lights in the sky fairly close and pretty good sized, like headlights on a car about 1/4 of a mile away. All completely horizontal to each other. Bright yellowish orange lights and they seemed to travel North all together and then disappeared one at a time until they were all gone. My husband said he thought he saw sparks coming off the lights and thought they looked more like fire balls. I did not see this and they looked like lights to me. Our daughter who is 11 was very shaken up.

The episode I saw months earlier, was similar but the lights did not disappear, and started lower in the sky (at first I thought it was a tractor with lights on top) and they were white. They moved East as they rose higher in the sky over the town of Pierson until they became too small to see. I stopped the car on a hill and watched them move away. Both times the lights were almost directly over the very small town of Pierson. That night it was just me.

Message: I looked up in the sky and saw what I first believed to be a cluster of stars that resembled to be a small scale of the little dipper. As I watched them for longer they would get very bright and then dim again. They weren't blinking really fast. They moved in a cluster pattern, and the aligned themselves in a straight line. Some would blink red that shoot across the sky so fast that you could barely see them. I want to say that there were anywhere from about 8 to twelve of them. For the most part they stayed in a cluster. they would make small dips in the sky moved in a circular motion. They were located in the north Eastern part of the sky.

Message: I was standing outside, and what I thought was a star caught my eye. It was extremely bright and yellow in color. I was watching it and it got really bright, then all of a sudden it came down quickly behind some trees. I was so scared I was shaking and got in my car and came home as quick as I could. I still can't believe what I saw. I am still shaking and scared. I don't know what to think about it. I am 16 years old and never in my life did I ever think I would see anything like I did tonight.

Message: I have seen many UFO in sky throughout the late 1990's. One time I spotted one while I was setting in my drive way. I noticed a white light like a star, it was moving, and it was bright, and would get dim, and go bright. So I flashed my car lights at it, when I flashed my lights it would come to a complete stop. Then a minute would go by and it would move again so finally it just took off at an incredible speed. So 5 minutes later a round glowing orange-blue UFO was just hovering about 100 hundreds away and low in the air. As soon as I looked at it, the thing took off leaving a beautiful trail of colors. It moved so fast that and I was so scared. I ran in the house and jumped in the bed under the covers, so scared I was crying. Because, if they could move that fast they could be right beside me and I would even know. I've also seen red light UFO's flying together in v formation, with stealth fighters chasing them. I saw so much strange things, that I quit looking up at night.

Message: I grew up across the playground from the Leflers. Our family's were friends growing up. The house is on Garretson just across from Longfellow School playground. Probably 3421 area. It is the third house up from the TKE house at M'side College. I have some more stories from when my sisters where in the house.

My sister said that it felt like a cat was going in and out between her feet and they did not even have a cat. Another time when mys sister and Julie were the only ones home the washing machine started but itself. Not really spooky, but when they looked the washer was running, but it wasn't plugged in.

There is the story of Mr. Lefler waking to see a ghostly figure of a woman in a long flowing dress moving down the upstairs hallway.

Another story told is that the adults were playing a card game at the dining table and a marble came flying across the room and hit the radiator and rolled across the floor. No one else was home at the time.

Then there was a tragedy at the home in the 1980's. One of the girl's boyfriends strangled another boy in his car in the driveway of the house.

Message: Many kids inside Romeo High School on 32 between campground and Main Street (or Vandyke) have reported seeing a ghost wandering the school auditorium. Rumor has it he died when the old sound booth under the stage caved in about twenty years ago, and his name is Stanley. It is also said that he has some sort of affinity w/ a green light, and once it was taken down he started causing problems with the theatre sets. Almost anyone who spends time in that theatre (drama kids, Mrs. Walls, the Techs) will tell you about Stanley, and some, myself included have seen him

Message: Going west on hwy 370 at a red light where 72nd crosses the road in Papillion, NE south of Omaha I seen an object flash overhead going west. Not a few seconds later I seen another object shaped as an obtuse triangle with three rows of dim lights horizontal across the craft going south. It had no bright flashing lights like a normal aircraft would. Due to the darkness I could not predict the hight or speed. It was about an inch long in my field of view, and at about a 50 to 60 degree angle from the ground. My best estimation would be 140 mph or so depending on the height.

Message: I have been to the Cry Baby Bridge Years Ago. Well I returned last night to show some others that this was not a joke. So we all 5 went to Greer S.C. On Devenger rd. which is somewhere off Pelham rd.

But anyway, sure enough it happened again. We cut the car off. Put it in neutral and it started to move and go up the hill by itself. AMAZING!! But when we got finished the first time. We decided to buy some baby powder. I sprinkled it all over the back of my tailgate and bumper. Well I kid you not. When we got over the bridge again, we pulled off to the side of the rd. and there was 2 hand prints and several little fingerprints all over the back of my car. I Swear. You Gotta Try It.
