Message: My husband and I were visiting Elko, NV and decided to take a walk late in the evening. As we walked west, we noticed a woman standing outside one of the Star Hotel restaurant staring at the sky. When we looked up, we saw two small red lights in the sky, near the moon. (According to the almanac, the moon was 86% full and wouldn’t set until 2:13am.)

The two red lights were moving, slowly towards the southwest. The first of the two lights was moving faster than the second one.

As we watched (there was no sound, no airplanes, nothing that could have explained the lights) we met other people who were watching the lights. One of the locals said that he had been watching the two lights for over an hour. He said they had moved from the northwest to the southwest. Everyone was spellbound by the lights.

After a while, the first of the two red lights flared and then slowly dimmed and then it disappeared.

The second light changed course, and headed west before disappearing behind some trees.

We read nothing about it in the local paper, and emails sent to both the newspaper and the police department have not been answered.

My husband is 67 and I am 57. We are both highly educated and intelligent.

This is our first UFO experience. My husband and I are not believers in UFOs but what we saw defies our imagination.

Message: It was 3.40am on 8th June 2008 in Detroit, Michigan. I had finished packing for my next day flight to India.

I was about to hit bed when I saw luminous white light in the sky. It looked like no plane or aircraft I had ever seen.

It was low-flying, fast spinning object and emitting white light all over. It looked circular and had a little dome on top of it.

It moved fast and changed direction and went out of my sight as if it disappeared.

Hundreds of people have come up with UFO sighting claims, especially recent news about mystery craft in Cardiff.

Hope we find some good answers very soon.

Message: Eight sided disk with 4 lights on each side. The top 2 were white while, the bottom 2 were blue. Possible abduction/contact. Hope you are well, I don't get online a whole lot. But figured I would write back to describe the event that I first wrote to you about and a few more that have happened since. The night that changed my life was on top of me before I had a chance to know it was there. I had been way back in a hollar near my house at a over-hang cave where I commonly had dug up tree and plant fossils. As the sun went down over the mountain dark was coming pretty soon. And without a flash light and being mostly cloudy I wanted to get down at least to the fields at the bottom before it was pitch black. I made my way down the steep slopes about 3/4 of mile just fine w/ no indication of anything wrong. At that time it was almost all the way dark.

Which dark comes around here about 9:30pm to :45 after. I came through the clearing at the bottom, past a pine thicket where the gardens and fields are finally visible. As I kept walking down I saw light on the ground. It was faint at first shining through the white pine trees, and I didn't turn around because I thought it was the moonlight for a few seconds as I walked. The light became bright seconds later and I turned and looked up and there it was right on top of me. It was long 150-200ft. length rectangle shape, not very wide 15-25ft. It had ten lights on it, 3 down each side, 2 on each end at out tilted angles. Both ends looked the same. The light came from round type housing but you could not see any lighting element just looked like white smoked glass over housing. It was metallic looking flat bottom w/ line like joints and slightly angles sides going up where the lights where at.

There was no sound but a weird feeling all around and inside me. I was paralyzed in fear as it sat right over top of me, nearly touching the tree tops. The ground and everything around was very bright. As what I thought was the end or rear slowly past over me I took off running toward the main house barely looking back, as the light faded some from behind me. I ran what I thought was about 400ft. And all at once I was stopped facing back in its direction, just watching. I was calm and not out breath for what seemed like a few seconds.

It had began moving back in the same direction it came from without turning just moving back in a straight line. At that time I realized I should be running to the house to get my father. As I reached the front porch I looked back and one end was barely still visable over the hill. I ran through the door, my dad in his underwear sitting in his recliner. I dragged him by the arm screaming for him to hurry out to see it. By the time he was out there it was gone over the mountain. He told me to watch for it and to wake him and mom up if I saw it again. I sat out on a rock bench by the driveway until 6:30am watching all night till daylight but never saw it again.

Although in the years since then I have experienced other strange things. Small orangish color lights back up on the mountain all scattered out. I only saw one at first as it floated around the pond through the trees closer towards me, about 4ft. off the ground but moving slightly up and down as it came. It came real close about 50ft. away. It seemed to be a brighter orange in the middle barely fluctuating. I stood very still and it began to travel back up in the hollar. When it became several hundred ft. up in the tree line I noticed another one on the other side of the mountain to the right of the pond.

As they moved back there was 5 then 10 till there must have been 20 of them. They came slowly together in a tight cluster until they looked as one light. At that same instant it flickered and disappeared. At that exact moment when they disappeared a big snap let out and something was running down the hillside towards me w/ great force and noise it was breaking down what sounded like small trees. I ran down the pond dam and into my big garage knowing that something was right behind me.

I locked the doors, ran up stairs and sat shaking w/ a 40.cal pistol, and Mak.991 assault rifle all night thinking whatever it was would break on in. I don't know what it was. This happened about 9 months ago in October it was cold that night.

I hope this is not too much to write. But it is all true and I would not make up such wild things. I will write back with pics of rock structures and tell about the strange vibrating, pulsing,t humping, noise that can heard and felt through larger rocks all over this area. I have some good digital cameras now and some sound recorders, and I'm on the lookout.

Message: At 11:20pm tonight I was standing in my backyard and saw a bright white light suddenly appear in the Southern sky at approximately 55 or 60 degrees to the horizon line. The light was as bright as a white flair and moved very slowly to the right for approximately 10 - 15 seconds then the brightness diminished and the light "faded" out and I couldn't see it any longer. The light was not a shooting star, it moved too slowly and was brighter than anything else in the sky. It was not lightening or ball lightening. There is not a cloud in the sky tonight and the moon is not out. There are lots of stars out and this was in no way similar to any star in the sky. It did not have a tail or trail, and did not blink or make any noise. I have NEVER seen anything like this in my life. I have seen comets, shooting stars, eclipse of the moon, shuttle launches, and am familiar with star formations. I am 48 and witnessed this with my son who is 24. We both saw the same thing and neither of us can explain just what it was that we saw.

Message: I was deer hunting and I saw what looked very similar to the "Alien Predator" when it was in almost invisible form in the "Predator" movie. It was about 100 yards away so I had a pretty good view, what I could see of it was very clear but because of the trees, etc. I never saw the whole form all at one time I couldn't really determine any particular shape or form but it definitely was something there and it just seemed to disappear after about 10 minutes of me noticing it (first thing I thought of was a heat mirage,then I came to my senses and remembered it was the first week in December).

Can you help put me in touch with the below or pass along my email?? Believe this area may have reoccurring UFO visits on a large scale. Seems like the same exact thing we witnessed in 1975. Same location, same direction, 100's of crafts, silent, clearly visible, some solo some in uniform clusters over 30 minutes or so.

Gotta get in touch so I can figure out exactly what and where they saw & if it was another event from the same crafts we saw 30+ yrs ago.

Thanks Lou. Never thought I'd run into others that saw this in the same area. I had a dream the other night about it and decided to go online and do some searching. Got the chills now.

The other folks account was nearly identical, some 30+ yrs later. I'm temped to try and get a camera over in that area facing the sky. If this is happening on a regular basis, which it appears may be the case, to see 100's of globe or halo style orbs in a 30 minutes period, would be some of the best footage to date. What we saw back then was tons of these things, some solo some in symmetrical groups. Maybe this area of Maryland is a gateway to where these craft enter or leave earths' atmosphere. It's occurred at least 2x from my account and the other folks account. My guess many other times.

Someone should get a camera out there.

UFO Sighting: Owings Mills, Maryland; January 1, 2008

Message: Did anyone else observe the hundreds of flying objects over Maryland on January 1, 2008, around 10pm? My wife and I were in our hot tub. I looked up and saw what I thought was a satellite, but I then noticed there were many more. We were in the tub for 20-30 minutes and a continuous stream of objects moved from about southeast to northwest the entire time we were outside. All of the objects moved at the same speed, but because they had different light intensities I assume they were at differing altitudes. Some moved in a perfect line of three in a perfectly spaced row, so there is no way they were a natural occurrence. We heard no sound from them, and they all had continuous light intensity (non-blinking).

A commuter jet passed overhead during this period, and it was obvious by the flashing lights and sound that that one object was a jet.

Location of Event: Indianapolis, IN

Message: On the evening of 6/21/08 my son and I were in the car driving on the southeast side of Indianapolis. We were approaching a stop sign (heading north) when I noticed a horizontal row of 11 bright yellow-orangish colored lights stretched across the sky. Three of the lights were out of the line lagging a bit behind. They seemed to be just hovering, and a tower is the first thing that came to mind, but they were at a slight angle, so I knew it wasn't a tower. There is no way it was planes, or stars either. They were way too bright, and they were flashing off and on intermittently. My son went to get his cell phone out to take a picture and realized he had left it where we were coming from, so I went to turn the car around to go back and get the cell phone. In that short of time, about 5 of the lights had disappeared, and the others had scattered about.

I then decided to go and park to watch the rest of them and to see where they would go. They were a lot closer to us now. One came directly above our car, although very high up into the sky. We watched it float straight up higher and higher until it disappeared. We then saw 3 more of the lights appear above the horizon between a couple of houses. We watched them float toward our direction (east). One of them was further ahead of the other 2 and came toward us (east) and then angled off (toward the north) and then floated upwards into the sky until it disappeared. The other 2 were still moving in our direction but didn't come out as far. They began to float higher and higher straight up into the sky and then disappeared in the exact same spot, one right after the other. We could not see anymore of the lights.

I do not believe in aliens or UFO's, but this was absolutely nothing I have ever seen before. I have tried to explain it away in every way possible, and could not come up with anything that makes any sense. I thought maybe fireworks caused it, but there is no way a firework is going to float out that far and that high up into the sky. I could not tell if they were giving off any sound either. I could only hear my car running. This was the freakiest thing I have ever seen.

This was not out in the middle of nowhere. It was by a freeway, and neighborhoods. Surely someone else besides my son and I saw this. I have watched the news, looked in today's paper and have not seen anything about it. I am too embarrassed to call and ask if something had been reported. I know I sound crazy, but I know what I saw! These lights were like glowing, almost fiery. Very strange. I really hope someone will be able to confirm what we saw.

Location of Event: Thirty miles Southeast of Bruneau Idaho at the Juniper Butte Air Force bombing range.

Message: At about 01:00 while preparing to leave a military bombing range, (at which I was part of team of fire and facility maintenance personnel) I was walking out to one of the fire trucks to remove the ignition keys, prior to exiting the facility for the night.

As I made my way toward the truck, I glanced up at the stars as I usually did, admiring how bright and close they appeared without the affect of reflected light from the city.

It was then that I noticed a large triangular shaped craft, that appeared to have mirrors attached to the bottom of it, moving slowly toward the North (Bennett MTN.) I was struck in awe at the sight of it as it appeared to be translucent with no distinguishing lights or markers that might have indicated regular aircraft.

There were three fighter jets following it at a distance, I could tell they were fighters by their sound and the flashing strobes on the wing tips..

As I was making my way back to the observation post, to get the attention of my work mates, the object increased in speed pulling way ahead of the fighters and disappeared.

Shortly after its disappearance, the three military fighters, reversed there course, and proceeded in a Westerly course returning to M.H.A.F.B.

Message: Yeah we were up at the trailhead of Mystic Lake here in Montana camping and all of a sudden a large light came out of the trees and lit up the mountains at night as if it were daytime. Message: I was driving up 202 to go to Chester NJ for the weekend. My girlfriend is there and I have been going up for the last 2 years. I noticed what at first looked like lights from towers that alert airplanes.

I have never notice them before. There were 4 lights in a rectangle. Only one was flashing red. As I was getting closer to them, they started to move. I pulled my car over and observed this formation moving for about 10 minutes.

It was directly behind the Ortho McNiel building. The formation was large and there was no noise. The formation moved to the right, stopped and then descended to the left.

It was very close to the tree line. I did not see any other lights like a captains cabin of an aircraft. It was amazing.

The one light that was flashing looked like a normal light from an aircraft but this was not even close to being a helicopter. It was very large and made no sound. I am bringing my camera up on the next trip.

Message: On 06/15/08 at approx 11:00 pm my husband and I both saw a light appear, get brighter and brighter, then fade out slowly and disappear. Then at 11:12 pm we saw it again. It was in the same place and did the exact same thing, again. We watched the sky until midnight but did not see anything else.

Message: I was walking along Belmont and it was a clear night so I happened to be paying attention to the sky. It was then that I noticed that there was really bright red light in the sky. When I got home a few moments later I could still see the light. It was very large, very red, and didn't have a clear course of travel. It sort of just hovered there for a while, sometimes moving to the left or right but never in a straight line. There was no sound either. It was not flashing however it was pulsing somewhat. Anyway, it hovered for about ten minutes and then I had to go inside to use the bathroom and when I came back outside it was gone. It was not a plane, not a helicopter, not a star. It was clearly a UFO. This is my first sighting.

Message: It was in the south east a star that was changing colors and then to the south I see one more. Now I have my binoculars and see 2 more in the south. Message: Me and two buddies were smoking a cigarette on the porch. When we saw a bright light in the shape of a circle about the size of a softball in the sky. It was mostly clear night then it hovered to the right of itself a cloud passed over it and when it cleared it vanished from site. It was gold in color but changed to a reddish shade before it vanished.

Message: I'm curious how many people out there, have had phone calls from people who have passed away sometime before the phone call happened. I've heard stories from people that have had this happen, and from others who know people that this has happened to. Sometimes it will be a live (so to speak) phone call, and other times it's voice mails.

It's been long enough ago, that I don't remember enough details, clearly enough to put them up here. I'm sure they are happening though. So I'd love to hear your experiences. An even stranger idea strikes me as I'm typing this. Has anyone every received, an email, fax, or some other technology based message from the dead?

As humanity gains more technology, it'll be interesting to see how the dead communicates with the living.

Message: I was flying back from Las Vegas, NV to Portland, Oregon as we were passing through the mountains between central Oregon and Mt. Hood. I don't think we had passed Mt. Hood yet, and I was staring outside looking at the beautiful mountains and forest below. It was sunshine and perfectly clear, no clouds in the sky. We were flying I would guess at least 30,000-40,000 feet. As I looked down at the view, I saw 3 perfectly round shaped white discs flying very close together in a formation below at I would guess about 10,000-20,000 feet below. They were very small and flew very fast in the opposite direction going South as we were flying North. It could not have been a jet or small aircraft. I was shaking and told my husband what I saw. It did not look man-made. It was just too perfect. I used to travel for my job for quite a few years. About 3 years ago flying back over the same area, I thought I had saw the same object but just 1 disc. When I saw the sighting on June 8th, 2008 it really scared me because it was very similar but 3 discs this time. I now know that it was not my imagination 3 years ago, that indeed I saw something flying over the Oregon mountain ranges and again on June 8th, 2008.

Message: Last night (may 30) my family and I witnessed strange lites from behind our friends house in Riceville TN. We hot in our cars and followed the lites on hwy 11. Whatever it was, was stationary and on the ground or low to it and because of the low overcast clouds it lit up the sky for 20 miles. It was spectacular with flashes of blue, green, orange and white. We were not the only one who witnessed this. There were at least 300 cars pulled over on the side of the road watching the lites. It lasted about 20 minutes and then suddenly stopped. The police made everyone leave and blocked off the streets, but there has been nothing in the paper about it all. We have no idea what it was. we were about 1 mile away went it stopped. Anyone else see or hear of anything weird in the area Friday night?

Location: Vicksburg Cemetery in Renville, Minnesota

Message: I was at the Vicksburg cemetery (in Renville, MN) this afternoon. You can see it clearly from my best friend's farm, it is way creepier than any other cemetery I have ever seen. Not many graves, in the middle of farm country, almost half of the graves were of children, under the age of 10 or so, barbed wire around it. There is no road that leads to it, only a grass path. The worst grave was an old grave, with a bush surrounding the stone with no name on the stone, it seemed like it was waiting for someone. Most were from the 1800's never going there again.

Location of Event: Between Castle Rock and Parker, CO; 20 miles southeast of Denver

Message: In the past week, I have had 3 sightings of lights that cannot be explained by anything other than "not normal". By normal, I mean something that can be given a logical explanation. These sightings of lights in the sky would always occur when I was in the car with my mom on the highway. My mom is a research biologist, and even she believes it could be extraterrestrial life.

The first sighting was wavy, flowing lights, that looked very similar to the Northern Lights, however, it would only appear in the clouds. These lights were blue, green, and red. My mom tried to find a spot where she could pull over and look at them, however, by the time she could, they were gone.

The second sighting can only be described as two white lights that looked like two very stretched out search lights. They were not round whatsoever, more like two rods of light. They, again, would only appear in the clouds. These lights would cross-over each other, just as search lights do. As soon as the cloud would move away, the lights would disappear, and then re-appear as soon as there was cloud cover. I was describing them to my mom, and once again, she tried to pull over and spot them. When she finally could, they had disappeared, just as they had the night before.

The third sighting, and the strangest and longest of them all, happened last night. From the very beginning to until they vanished, it lasted about 45 minutes. Again, my mom and I were driving down the highway when I looked at the car window, and spotted a glowing, green light in the clouds. It was moving in an oval shaped pattern in the clouds, and whenever it reached the edge of the cloud cover and hit the night sky, it would disappear, then re-appear as it went into the cloud cover again. As it would move in this pattern, it would flash along the way. It never changed color, never grew dimmer, and never fell out of sight. I had been telling my mom about what I saw every time, and was always disappointed when they were gone when she could look. I had been so fascinated by this sighting, that I couldn't take my eyes off it. My mom glanced very quickly at the sky, and she saw a brief glimpse of the green light. I expected this light to disappear once again, just as they had the previous nights, but this light didn't. My mom finally pulled over, and was able to take a very long look at it, and she saw the exact same thing. A round, green, flashing light in the clouds. Suddenly, our little green light was not alone. There were two green lights right next to each other. Same size, same color, same shape, in other words...identical. The two lights began to almost chase each other in a small circle at speeds faster than any jet my mom has ever seen fly at. They would fly and chase each other for about 5-10 seconds, disappear, then re-appear and chase for another 5 seconds, and so on and so forth. After about 20 minutes of this chasing act, they stopped and became slightly smaller, and then just vanished. I tried to spot them, or anything like them, the whole way home, but it was just black sky.

We've told 2 or 3 friends but every reaction was a strange look, and laugh, and some stupid comment on our mental stability. We both know that we saw those lights, and we both know that we not under ANY sort of influence. If anyone has seen anything similar to any of these sightings, particularly the third one, please post it. I know we are not alone, and after last night, I've never believed it more.

Location of Event: NJ route 80 east 1/8 of a mile b4 the Squirrelwood Road exit

Message: I saw something odd very low in the sky on route 80 east bound. Unfortunately I was driving at 65 mph so I couldn't get a look at it, but based on the criteria of a UFO being something unidentified and flying, it would constitute a UFO. I'm just curious as to whether anyone else had seen it. It was maybe about the size of a helicopter about 150 yards up with several lights flashing.

Message: Hello, I was browsing your site and saw the listing that in Saint Cloud, Florida at the end of Jones Road off of Narcoossee Road there is suppose to be a haunted creek. I live less then a minute from Jones Road and was wondering if you could give me a more detailed description of the location so that I could visit the site. Do you know of any famous haunted places or urban legends? I'd love to hear your stories via The Contact Form.

For example my dad grew up around the Joplin, Missouri area. There is a legend that goes back to sometime in the 1800s, called the Joplin Spook Light. The way I heard it, it has something to do with an Indian spirit. The light will bounce on and enter cars parked in the general area. This light is suppose to move intelligently. There have been different groups of people including the Army Corp of Engineers, that have come out to investigate it. I don't think any of the scientific answers have completely explain the phenomena.

Message: At first we thought it was a shooting star, until it came back and was flitting around the sky like an insect. It was a light, like a star, at cloud level, and moved all around the sky. We saw it for several minutes, and then it was gone.
