Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Message: We were on vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC. My wife and I were sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean when three bright orange gold color lights appeared in a triangle shape and then three more bright orange gold color lights appeared to the right. The right group was some distance away from the left group. They were approximately 30 degrees above the horizon and there was no sound. The lights were many times bigger and brighter than any jetliner landing lights or helicopter searchlight. They stayed there for about 10 seconds and the lights went out one by one. The lights turned off in the following order:

We ran out to the beach and watched for 30 minutes and never saw them again. My wife called her sister on our cell phone to share her experience, as we continued to watch. It is a strange experience. We have never seen this before.

On May 15, 2008, the Larry King show aired a video of a similar grouping of these UFOs.

Message: Winner SD - South of Winner, the old town of Lamro was a busy town. An old saloon, which is now own by Fisher family and made into a home, still remains. You could be sitting in the living room and all of a sudden you would hear a scream then a gun shot. You would look up and you could see blood coming out of the ceiling and drip onto the carpet. Then the blood on the ceiling would disappear but leaving the blood spot on the carpet. Since then Fisher's remodeled and the occurrences have stopped.

Location of Event: The road through the Everglades from Miami to Naples

Message: I was only 12 at the time. My mom and I were traveling from my aunt's in Miami to a relatives in Tampa.

It was about dusk when I saw a bright spot in the sky behind us. It was high up so we thought it was an airplane.

The light came in fast towards the back of our car. My mom was frightened and sped up, but it stayed about 50 yards behind us and up off the road about the height of a telephone pole.

It stayed close behind us all the way to Naples. I was screaming, and my mom was scared. We came into Naples at 100 miles per hour and pulled into the very first gas station we saw.

The light flew off to the south about a minute before we got into Naples, FL.

The man in the gas station said we were the third people that day to come in talking about seeing a light behind them traveling from Miami.

It was just a very bright light - we couldn't tell any shape.

Message: I was never a big believer, until a week and half ago. I was on my way home one night alone in the car with my sleeping children. It was late there were no other cars on the country road when I looked up and saw an extremely bright white light with some small orange and red lights following it. They were somewhat shaped like an airplane so I thought nothing of it. I was headed south the object appeared to be heading east at a rather quick pace, which I thought was unusual as I live within 30 minutes of an airport and 15 of a military base so I see planes and helicopters daily.

Nonetheless I shrugged it off. I arrived home a short time later, took my kids in the house to bed, etc. I came back outside to unload my car when I did I heard this loud humming sound,(like an A/C unit, motorcycle, and helicopter all rolled into one) I thought to myself "man that sounds like my a/c unit on my house is about to explode." I looked around saw no vehicles coming down the road, nobody outside, my a/c unit wasn't even running, nothing.

I looked straight overhead. Not even a few thousand feet in the air ( I'd say about as low as the army helicopters run tests runs, for anyone who may live near a military base, if not lower) was this massive object that resembled the one I saw earlier (only a thousand times closer and brighter) just hovering over me. It had a bright white light at the front, followed by 2 rows of red and orange slightly smaller lights, that ran in sequence from front to back (like Christmas lights do) and then 2 mid size lights on top of each other at the end of the rows of lights, the one on top red the one on bottom orange. I was so scared I ran inside.

Moments later I came back out thinking I was going crazy. By this time it had flown to the east quite slowly. When I watched it, it made a sharp u-turn right back towards me. It turned in a way I've never seen a plane move. I ran back inside to wake my husband, and it was gone.

Maybe I'm crazy. Maybe it was a strange army plane, I've never seen in all my years living near the base, I don't know. But I thought I would share, in case anyone else has seen something similar. Most sightings of UFOs, I've been able to find, are either saucer shaped or triangular. This one was cigar shaped from the White light (nose) to the final 2 lights which were behind it & slightly above and below the body with blank space in between. I couldn't make out any type of an actual body, it was just the lights and their aura.

I'm taking this opportunity to welcome all of the people who read my UFO blog. I've had the site for years now, and it's undergone changes here and there. Yet the main concept has always been, to give the people of the world, a place where they could tell their story, whenever they felt they were ready to.

One of the main hurdles has been a language barrier. Since American English is my only functional language, that has cut off a huge chunk of the world. Well today, I went and looked at the Google Language Tools. I don't think that barrier is all that big anymore.

According to the statistics, there really are people all over the world, reading these personal accounts. So no matter where you may be, and no matter which language you may speak, I sincerely invite you to share your encounters. The only thing that I ask, is that you use google language tools first, and convert it to English, and then post it to the contact form. I ask this, because I may not recognize which language you may using, otherwise I would gladly convert it.

Out of curiosity, if you're finding this site through google, are they translating it to your language? Also, is the translation readable enough? If there is a viable way for me to do so, I'll all for making the blog more "World" user friendly.

I figure the more reports of "the unusual" we can read, the better idea we can have of what's going on around the world. To get that bigger picture, that's so hard to see.

Description: I do not know the name of this video for sure, it may be "Rods!", with Stacy Keach as the narrator. It deals with a phenomenon calls Rods or Roswell Rods. Usually small, and unusual in manner and look.

Message: It was dusk, probably around 8 pm, I was riding my horse through a pasture when low in the sky I saw an elongated oval-shaped bright white light out over the middle of nowhere. It seemed odd, but I didn't think much of it until my horse spotted it and was overcome with fear. He was looking directly at it, ears perked, head raised, snorting and trembling in fear. He wanted in the worst way to turn and bolt for the barn, but I managed to keep him steady for a minute or two so that I could continue watching the light.

It didn't move at all, didn't do anything except hang in the sky. My horse finally gained control and bolted so I only got to watch for a couple minutes. I'd never seen anything like it before or since. It would have completely escaped my attention were it not for my horse, which doesn't prove anything of course other than that something very odd was out there that evening. I didn't tell anyone for a few years until I heard others say that they too have seen some very strange lights in the vicinity.

Message: I grew up in Southern Oregon near White City. There is an old military base from the world wars there, previously called Camp White. It was used as a training base for new recruits. A lot of deaths occurred during the rigorous training sessions. Since the war the grounds have been converted into a veterans affairs domiciliary. It is used for veterans housing, military museum and has offices for government/veteran employees.

The old barracks are now used as storage rooms/units and apartments. The few times I went into the storage hall as a kid my dad and grandpa wouldn't let me wander alone. And it felt as though someone was walking with us. Supposedly the storage units and apartments that were converted are haunted by soldiers. I remember seeing one in my grandparent's apartment as a kid at Christmas. I saw it go through our living room, into the kitchen and look out the large front window. I was 6, maybe. Brother saw him, too. So i know I'm not crazy. I know White City's not on the list but i think it should be.

Message: I was camping in Howell, MI July 4th weekend. From there the sky is very dark and I easily see satellites and meteors. I really enjoyed the shuttle docking with ISS last year. I could make out three bands of reflected light from ISS. Later that summer I watched the shuttle cross Ursa major. So I can say that I know that magnitudes of light from stars and various objects in the sky while at Howell.

On July 4 2008 my wife and I saw a very bright 'star' in the sky. She asked me about it and I said it was likely a conjunction of a plant with a star. The magnitude was greater than Venus. I thought of measuring the size of it, because it was about as big as my pinky nail held at arms length. I still think what I saw was natural, but now I am not so sure.

Message: At 9:15pm last night, me and my girlfriend saw a bright orange light coming over us, about a 1000 feet above us. As it came directly over us, it looked like a flying fire floating to the southeast. No sound whatsoever from this UFO. Whatever this was the ABE International Airport should have picked this object up on radar. We followed it's direction in my car, and the last I seen, it was over Hecktown, and towards Easton, before it was out of sight. This moved too fast, for a hot air balloon, and I never saw a plane look like that, unless that's what a plane looks like engulfed in flames? Did anyone see this fast floating flame, or fireball going southeast over the Lehigh Valley, between 9pm and 10pm, the night of 7-24-08?

Location of Event: Hubbard, Oregon (along Barlow Rd.)

Message: I was living in the country for a short time in 2000 in Hubbard, Oregon. It is very dark out in the country as there are no street lights. I was out on the porch, standing on the top step, the sky was very dark that night, and I was smoking a cigarette and talking to someone on the phone. For whatever reason I looked up and saw this enormous, silent object moving slowly over the house heading north. The object was jet black and never seemed to end, it just kept coming and coming over the porch. I could make out that it was, rectangular in shape, flat, solid, silent, and black, like a parking lot in the sky.

It was so enormous that I could not tell if it was 20 feet above the house, or 200 feet, or even more. I was in such awe that it didn't occur to me to be scared. I was describing it to the person I was on the phone with but they were saying that it had to be some large military plane or something, but I know it wasn't. It's not the type of thing you run around telling people about because I couldn't even get the person on the phone to believe me as it was happening. I saw what I saw, and there is no explanation other than it being a UFO. It slowly made it's way north, over farm land and other homes toward highway 99E at the town of Canby.

Location of Event: Rural Eastern Montana, approximately 10 miles south of Richey, MT

Message: On Sunday, July 13th, 2008, I went to bed with a book and read until I felt sleepy. At 12:30 AM, I put the book down and turned off the lamp next to my bed. I sleep on my side facing two large windows, which face west. Both the ceiling fan and floor fan were on high, which made the closed shades on the windows breathe in and out slightly. As the shades blew out, I saw a perfectly shaped circle, which I assumed was the full moon rising.

However, it didn’t look quite right. The light was a little too intense and focused without any of the soft moon-glow normally surrounding a full moon. I had a strong feeling that I should get up and look out the window, but being very tired, I didn’t. I continued to watch the ‘moon’ as the shade blew in and out until I fell asleep. Less than an hour later, my husband woke me out of a sound sleep and told me the cat was in bed with us. I got up, put the cat in the garage and on my way back to bed, stopped at the window and looked out to confirm the position of the moon. There was no moon in that part of the sky.

The next morning the first thing I did was check the current phase of the moon and I discovered that it wouldn’t be full until Friday, July 18th. On the night of July 13th, the moon was little more than a half circle, not the perfectly round circle I witnessed the night before.

If we lived in a city or town, I would have written the whole episode off as some sort of prank, but we literally live in the middle of nowhere. I paced off the area from my bedroom window to approximately where the light had come from, which took me to the edge of the wheat field behind our house. Although I’ve never been a believer in UFOs and feel a little silly writing this, whatever it was wasn’t right and has left me a little spooked.

Message: I used to work at The Elms Resort and Spa in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and I can tell you for a fact it is haunted. I had a door swing open on me, when I had already closed down the spa one night. The spa is one level up from the lap pool, also I hated going down into the lap pool to turn off the lights. Because they are on the other side of the pool, so you had to walk halfway around the pool in the dark. Let's just say I never walked around, I ran!! There is just a feeling, when you go into the Elms, you are not alone!!!

Message: I have a picture of some type of beam not made of jet contrails, it is a type of beam.

I watched as jets were spreading something into the air and trying to cover up this beam up. I watched it for about two hours. It was not in the same line as the sun and my camera was not being effected by any type of sun reflection. What ever it was, it did not move but the stuff the jets where dropping out was to be able to cover it up.

I had some other people look at the pictures and they thought what ever it was, was very strange indeed. You could see where the stuff the jets where dumping, did indeed cover this odd looking straight non moving line and did cover it until all disappeared. I kept thinking radiation, or some type of test going on. Figures they would do this, like they have in the past with their tests, and then we all have to live with the effects, like cancer, and stuff.

The other thought I wondered about, was that line or beam some type of a UFO landing type navigational entry line or area? Figuring they where attempting covering this beam line up, that idea could make some sense.

That was in Wisconsin by the way. The year of the sighting was 2008.

Message: Hey everyone, my name is Rosie. I moved to Connecticut 5 years ago. Before moving to CT, I lived in the Dominican Republic(Caribbean island between Puerto Rico and Cuba). Well as I grew up in a small town in the capital, there were many types of murders and suicides. These murder and suicide cases were never solved, and everyone thought it was a witch that was doing all the killing and torturing.

I was about 9 years old when this was happening. I remember like yesterday, people talking about seeing her at night walking the dark streets. For some strange reason she was naked. My mom and I were very superstitious, we always thought that the people in town were crazy and they just didn't want to investigate those murders. One night like every other night my mom, my sis and my bro were sitting in the front porch talking about things that kids like to talk about you know. My brother got a little quiet and then we got worried because he wasn't talking at all. He was also staring at one particular place, but it was really dark so we didn't know what he saw. My mom got a little worried so she told us to go inside the house and go to bed.

My mom went to her room where her husband was watching TV. My bro, sis and I went to sleep we shared 1 room. Around midnight I felt a cool breeze coming from the living room. I woke up immediately. I started to hear some steps on the roof top. Then I got really scared I thought that we were being robbed. My sister woke up also. We tried waking up my bro, but he just wouldn't move, like before when we were outside that night. I called my mom and she came out with a very scared look on her face. We asked her what was going on and she said there is a naked woman on the roof top trying to get in here. I said "it can't be possible she is not real. My mom said well explain to me why my husband doesn't wake up and he is breathing poorly. I was really scared because the witch was laughing very loud and she would call our names like if she knew us for some reason.

The wind was blowing very hard and we felt like the doors and windows were going to blow open. For a moment part of the roof started to lift up and she actually tried to get in I saw her face, she was young and her hair was long and black. She also had a big scar on her face like if she had sewn it back together. My mom started to sprinkling holy water around the house, doors and windows. I threw some of the holy water on her and she got burned. I helped my mom say some prayers while my sis was still trying to wake up her dad. I guess that with the holy water, the witch was getting her feet burned because smoke was coming from the roof top. We were all crying, until she finally left. We couldn't go back to sleep, my bro and my mom's husband did not wake up until 6 am. We went out side to see if she left anything. There were some foot prints on the walls and on the floor, black foot prints, there were also some sort of salt like residue around the house. There was a very cold breeze that morning also.

Three weeks later we moved from that town. I ended up going to New York with my dad and my mom and family stayed in my country.

Message: my son, Michael, graduated NU in 07. His Rook Year (freshman year) was spent in Alumni Hall and he has several tales to tell.

The one that got his attention was the sign out pen (dry eraser marker). Cadets are required to sign in/out. He and his two roomies would leave for classes. Upon entering the room, Michael's dry eraser marker would be on another desk. He proved this to his roomies by circling the pen on his desk blotter. Since all three were in the same classes and no one else had the key to the room (ALumni 416), they knew no one could enter. On the blotter was an empty circle and the dry erase pen on another desk.

Windows going up/down in the room and hallway.

Sounds of running water in the shower yet the shower would be bone dry.

Message: Several of us witnessed the same objects on Long Lake near Hale Michigan. First time there was 4 of us watching the fireworks from a pontoon boat on the 4th. At first glance I thought it was a piece of firework floating across the sky (it looked like a glowing ember) but quickly realized it was something flying overhead.

There were 2 objects that night. The next night there was 7 of us and we and again 2 red-orange balls of light flew over us again. Both nights the lights were traveling from south to north and about 10:30 to 11:00 pm. On Saturday night we saw a possible 3rd object later in the far west sky.

Our group opinion was that these were far faster than a regular aircraft and the the whole object was emitting light. We watched them approach, overhead and going away but the light and shape never changed. Reading your posts above it seems these objects were all over lower Michigan about the same time. Guess they were just checking out the fireworks displays. It was really exciting to see these.

Message: I am by no means a "believer" nor a "non-believer" in UFO's. However, approx. 15 minutes ago (10:05pm), my wife, my 4 year old, and myself, where laying in our Coleman tent outside here in North Western Virginia. We were laughing and looking up at the stars & clouds.

Every so often, a jet would fly over high above, but would always be preceded by the jet "noise". Then, out of no-where, my wife looked back toward the Western Sky and said, " Look, What is that ?" I looked back as well, and I saw a VERY bright singular light traveling East toward us, and it appeared to be descending rapidly.

I was taken back by this, because there was NO audible sound. I know the sights and sounds of aircraft, helicopters & airplanes. I have a trained eye and ear for detail and not exaggeration, due to my chosen profession, Law Enforcement.

I decided to look outside of the tent, so I unzipped the tent and looked toward that light, and suddenly it became three lights. I was very puzzled!! No sound, one light, then three?????????? I said to my wife, "Look at that !!, what could that possibly be?" My little girl was then scared. I told her everything would be alright. I then watched the lights (plural), turn back into one.

Then as suddenly as it appeared, it begin to vanish into .............thin air ! ........... GONE !! Oddly enough, this is the third time in 3 years that we, as a family have experienced this. Not exactly the same every time, but one common thread is, that it is without ANY LOGICAL explanation.

My wife is a paralegal, and I'm a Cop. We are not into making up "goofy" stories. This happened for sure. We've never told anyone about the 2 prior incidents.

Message: Yesterday at the river Around 6pm July,19th 2008 (four years before 2012)still very bright & sunny out. (for the first time in my life)

I seen an object far up (like 60,000 feet or more) in the sky, and it just stayed put. It was weird that how I can see this because it was so small (but only because it was so high and far up in the sky). It was at least a mile and a half long, it looked like a metallic writing pen. Understand, that I am not concerned if you believe me or not, but this is what I saw. But at first I thought it was just debris or something in that nature, but I am fascinated about U.F.O.'s anyway, and gave this a second thought.

So I tried to show my friends, but they couldn't see it, though one of my homies has bad eyesight anyways, and the girl that was there just couldn't see it, and it is hard to try to get to see this just because it was a bright day and the sky is so vast. You know? And then eventually, I lost it, because I was trying to show my friends, and I looked away, but it reappeared about two miles south from where it was before.

I can't believe that I was able to catch it again, and again I tried to show my friends, but again they couldn't see what I can see, and all of a sudden, another one appears North of it. Same size, same shape, the original craft eventually vanished, or something, took off maybe. I lost focus of it, but eventually I lost the other one also, because I was trying to find the original craft. Anyways this all went down yesterday afternoon, at the Sandy River, Oregon.

My first UFO Sighting, WOW! I can't believe I got to see them, I am stoked indeed, and I guess its hard for folks to except, and believe that until/unless they get to see them also.

Message: Me and my mom were at this place called Happy Wash off Hixson Pike (in a plaza that also contains a CiCi's Pizza, what used to be a Bi-lo, and a Chinese restaurant). I looked up and saw a bunch of shapes (about 7, shaped exactly like the stereotypical saucers) to the left of a building that I think houses a bank across the street. They stayed completely still but they were all in the air pretty high up. I thought it was too weird to be real, so every now and then I ask my mom if she remembers it. I asked her before I typed this, just to be sure, and she still remembers it.

It's one of those things you never forget. They were in a weird place, and it was daylight, so I can understand people not seeing them, but I wish I could find someone else who saw them that day.

Message: I'm not sure what i saw, it was just before the full moon. At first I thought it was something like methane gas.

I was looking out at the water, in the evening, about 10pm. I was looking and I said to my son, "What is that light from the water?" It's not the moon's reflection. it was coming from below the water, and the light was illuminating, and also above the water. it was more of a white light.

I wondered, if anyone else had seen this, in this area. It was strange. I live right on the water and look out often at night, but I have never seen anything quite like it. It looked as if something was under the water, but I Thought, there is nothing that would be back under these waters, it's to shallow, and the light was about 25 or 30 around, from below the water, and sort of flowing above the water, in the area it was coming from, from beneath. Not as a cloud, or fog either. Has anyone, an explanation of what this is?

Message: I received my degree from JSU in 1999, and returning often to visit some of my favorite places around the town. I drove to the firetower a place that was always available to anyone until my strange encounter happened.

Well I was observing a hidden mountain bowl to the east of where I was standing, and I felt like something was close to me, and felt like I had company. When not 400 or 500 feet to the east of me, in the bowl out of sight to everyone, this object appeared out of thin air. This huge orange ball of light turned on like a florescent light bulb does. Flickering on, and I felt like it was showing it's self to me. Because I sensed it, and what is even stranger about the observation I had made, was not a second after the orange ball appeared flickering on with pulses, I heard a loud backfire, or combustion electrical charge of some sort.

Possibly a reaction to the object coming out of its stealth, hidden camouflage. Not appearing to anyone, until that moment, directly out of sight of everyone, but me, because I was looking down at it. I plan to investigate further, and I already know that in the near future, what I need to further do, and you will be hearing from me if any further developments occur.

Message: Family was sitting outside just as the sun was going down. Glowing light appeared and danced around. We thought that it was a plane on fire, but it seemed to float for awhile. We have a wide open view of the sky and we saw the same thing about 2 weeks ago, and passed it off as maybe a firework. Wife got video camera out and got several minutes of footage, then battery went dead, even though it said it had plenty of time left on it. When zooming in, it looked like a large screen t.v. with a maze on it. Cannot decide if that may be the way the camera shot the light in a close up. Took some digital pictures, but they only showed up as an orange light. No sound at all. Would disappear and then show up in another spot in the sky. Did this 5-6 times. Then looked like it shot straight up into the sky and the light went out. Showed up 1/2 hour later and did the same thing. Whole family witnessed it.

I called the local television station to see if anyone else reported anything strange. They said it was a lantern firework and not to worry about it. I took video to two firework stores to show it to the owners and neither said it looked like any firework they had seen.I do see others reports here from the area during the month of July. Especially the one from Goshen, IN which is relatively close to us.

Waterbury (WTNH) _ Mixed in with the usual reports of crime and neighborhood nuisance, Waterbury police received a number of unusual calls last night. People reported unidentified objects in the sky.

Bright blue skies could be seen in Waterbury today, but Wednesday night something peculiar, eerie and slow moved across Connecticut skies.

"I heard a little thunder, something like that," Jim Carter, of Waterbury, said.

Remember Roswell, New Mexico 1947? Ring a bell? That's when witnesses say they saw a flying saucer, carrying aliens, crash. While there was no crash last night, some Waterbury residents are wondering do extraterrestrial beings inhabit our world? Are there aliens among us?

It was shortly after 8:00 PM Thursday when the calls came pouring into the Waterbury Police Department. Neighbors at 578 Wilson Street say they saw globe-like objects flying in the sky.

Witnesses say the bright globe-like objects hovered in the sky for nearly 20 minutes. Carl Dippelhofer, of Waterbury, believes that aliens are a possibility.

"There probably is, there probably is aliens out there," Dippelhofer said.

While the Waterbury Police Department refused to comment, there's no denying that witnesses saw something and they want answers.

"I'm home tonight, I'm off of work, I'll be looking up there tonight to see if I can see anything around that time," Mary Carter, of Waterbury, said. "I will."

Carter said she wants to know what many Americans have questioned for decades: are there aliens among us?

Meanwhile, Bradley International Airport, along with Waterbury-Oxford Airport, said there were no reports of anything unusual in the skies over Connecticut last night.

Message: I've seen the glowing graveyard north of Columbus and the graves didn't really glow, not a whole lot anyway, however, the bridge thing is true. We tried it out once, and nothing happened, we went over the bridge a second time though, and when we stopped our car later down the road it had at least 5 little hand prints on it.

We were freaked out so we hurried up and got back in the car. My door however was mysteriously jammed. I tried to open it for a long time and couldn't. I ca
