Message: I live in Des Moines, Iowa and I was out pretty late with some friends who were all going out of state the next day. It got pretty late and I decided it was about time to get home.

I estimate I saw the unidentified craft/crafts at around 4:30 because it was about 4 when I left my friends. When I arrived at home I noticed the sky was extremely clear. All the stars were out, I was taking in all the scenery when I saw what had to have been 8 or 10 bright white lights in a V pattern fly right over my head. No sound and it looked huge.

Couldn't have been more than 1,000 to 2,000 feet in the sky and it moved at a very slow speed. I watched it for probably 3 to 4 minutes until it made a sharp curve and disappeared into the horizon. Now I'm sure it wasn't just one craft or whatever you want to call it because I looked in between the V pattern and I could still see the stars in the sky.

I have no idea if this was some sort of a man made drone plane or a genuine alien craft. All I know is that it was unidentified to me and I still find it strange that it happened at 4:30 on a weeknight. Maybe it wasn't meant to be seen, maybe I was the only one meant to see it.

It's possible that we are all meant to have our own personal experience or contact. Maybe it was nothing out of the ordinary at all. Either way it was an unforgettable experience for me.

Message: I saw these same lights on Sept 2 at the same hour from my 11th floor hotel balcony at Carowinds in North Myrtle Beach.

I left a comment a few hour ago and have since been googling around to figure out what it could have been that I saw. I forgot to mention in the previous post that I watched the lights with my binoculars for at least 3 or 4 minutes and then they disappeared and came back again a few minutes later.

I am 51 year with a law degree, and I tell you directly that the lights were absolutely NOT any sort of balloon, flare, meteor, military plane on maneuver, lightning, planet, distant boat on the sea, lanterns drifting in bags, birds or anything else I have ever seen in my life. I have never believed in UFO´s and I still don´t believe in them, HOWEVER, I did see something that night that I cannot explain.

I imagine they are some sort of an amazing hoax to captivate and attract tourists to Myrtle Beach, but I have no clue how such a hoax could be accomplished (could they be super-advanced hologram projections???)

I have been reading that these lights have been seen on many different dates around 10pm at night, so I suspect either an amazing tourist hoax (why would the military or aliens choose to perform complex maneuvers repeatedly in front of Myrtle Beach) or perhaps a very incredible natural phenomenon that has never been documented or explained by scientists even though many tourists have seen it over many years, always around 10 or 11 at night!)

Although the videos of the lights that I saw on YouTube are shaky from the people trying to zoom in on them, they are definitely untouched and real. The lights were much more spectacular in person, but at least the amateur videos capture a small bit of the phenomenon.

Well, that was my two cents worth. It was amazing and I suppose that, for the first time in my life, I am entirely baffled, and without an explanation for what I saw. Maybe E.T. is here and the stock market collapse is just part of their first wave of attack! I always suspected Bush and crew of being at least partially alien!

Message: My brother and I were sitting on the balcony at the Carowinds Hotel on the 11th floor and we saw those lights.

I remember them being almost exactly as the writer describes them. I tried to think that they were glowing lights mounted on hot air balloons or helicopters, but I decided that it was impossible for balloons or helicopters to move in the way the lights were moving.

The movements appeared random, from stopped to fast, back and forth, etc. sort of like just "joy riding" in the night sky. I saw the lights fading in and out for over a minute. Then they disappeared, then I saw them again a few minutes later.

They made absolutely no noise and seemed to be 3 or 4 independent "UFOS". Well, it was weird enough to make me have a vivid dream about "invading UFOs" last night (a month after i saw them).

I confess that do not believe in UFOs. And I still don't believe. It must have been something man made. Maybe someone playing a hoax on the tourists, but I admit it is an AMAZING hoax!

And I can't figure out how they are doing it. Maybe someone caught some birds and attached lights to them and then controlled the lights from a hotel balcony somewhere.

Or maybe we ARE being invaded like in my dream last night! Wow. Whatever it was, it was amazing. If anyone figures out what those lights were, please let me know! I am baffled!

Message: Unexplainable sightings over long island sound on Wednesday, September 24th 2008...

The bright yellow lights on the craft would go from being very bright to dim and dark dark red. Sometimes they would turn off the light and just hover in one spot. They reminded me of the ship Darth Vader flew in star wars. It was a 3 winged aircraft that was absolutely silent as it rocketed towards me and my friend on the beach.

We called some of our friends, and they confirmed there were possibly 8 to 10 of these things. The first one came right towards the beach, about 1,000 feet in the air, maybe 3,000 yards out over the sound.

It then sped up, whipped around and went in another direction, toward Connecticut. We watched as it shined its light on Connecticut, the whole horizon was brightened from where we stood, 30 miles away.

It then appeared to land, or at least to us it looked like it was hovering in one spot, almost on the ground but not quite touching. Then we kept on seeing airplanes(probably commercial) flying towards it, past it, around it...as if they were trying to see it.

We saw lots of these things, you can describe the light they shine as a vivid yellow light, which seems like it was pulsing almost, maybe flickering is the word I'm not sure. Then it would turn off its bright light, and turn on dim red lights.

A total of 6 people watched this entire thing from 7:45 until after 10pm. Truly amazing, i never believed in UFOs. Never, ... not until now.

Message: On September 19,2008 in Middletown Delaware, me and my sister in law were watching stars in our front yard. The first thing that happened was a bright light flew very fast, it was almost unseen.

She asked if I saw it and almost speechless I said yes. We saw some more dimmer ones but we both agreed they were not the same. Later we seen another brighter light this time flew then stopped, swirled and then disappeared, something like that reminded us of a Star Trek thing.

We're still unsure what to think.

We started to notice that once it disappeared it would appear at the beginning point. Once we began having interest in this we noticed that the ship or whatever began coming directly at us slowly I think? I swear it was like a dream!

The ship came directly over my pool and hovered for at least a minute roughly 40 foot above our heads. It made no noise had lights but you could not tell what they were if that makes sense. It was not like a bulb from a plane. At first i think we were just stunned at the size of it. A huge Rectangle ship NO wings!

We kept looking for them because we could not believe a ship could be a rectangle< but it was. We finally snapped out of our stare and started running for the side of the pool to get out and tell everyone inside. Just as we started moving it started moving backwards and turned to the left over my sisters room.

As I got to the sliding door I turned to look at it one more time as I did it tilted downward and blue a flame or something about 20 or more feet and shot into the street and disappeared. Sounds crazy but its true! it only made a sound when it disappeared which shook the plates off my walls.

My friends and I were the only ones to visually see this that night that I'm aware of. My parents came rushing outside as did all my neighbors. Everyone felt it but no one was outside.

I will never forget that day for the rest of my life. Some I tell will not believe me but we know what we saw. ON the news they said they were doing test at the navel base in Corpus..I DON'T THINK SO!!
