Further Description of Sighting: I was with my daughters school 6th grade classes at Frost Valley YMCA camp. Appox. 20 students and 6 adults were walking into a clearing while on a hike. It was a clear day. As we entered the clearing everyone for some reason looked up across the valley into the sky.
There above the mountain was an oval(rounded out football shape) traveling across the sky. It appeared to be goldish in color but that could of been caused by the sun. It wasn’t making any sounds. At the elevation it was at if it were any fuel driven air craft we would of clearly heard it.
As we watched it the adults turned to me and asked what it was. I could only answer “A UFO.” We watched it continue until it was out of sight. Over the past few years I have asked my daughter about that day making sure it wasn’t something I dreamed. The first time I asked her I just said remember when we came out of the woods at Frost Valley. And she instantly replied” It was a UFO.”

I’m certainly not responding to this to spam you or mess with your head in any way. I’m a true believer. I’ve seen what can only amount to be ufo’s and strange objects for many years now. Tonight however, I seen another bright light over monticello, ny at aproximately 6:15 pm. It coasted across the sky- bright and without detail. During it’s coast in an eastern direction, it climbed in elevation and became dim. Eventually, it bright light faded to a dot and it seemed to shot right out of the atmosphere. My wife whom was with me saw exactly what I saw. Ofcourse, being less enthusiatic about it, when I asked her what she thought it was, she just said, “It looked like a ufo.”
Then, just a suddenly as she answered my question, I noticed her staring at her walmart receipt and saying, “damn, they over charged me for something.”
I guess, even though she saw the same Unidentified Flying Object that I did, it still remains that only a handful of us are really paying attention. Good luck and God speed.
